Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview Protex AI is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic Tech Ops team in Bengaluru on a hybrid contract. In this role, you will support the core edge-to-cloud foundation powering our safety-focused computer vision systems, debug networking issues, and troubleshoot integrations. Key Responsibilities - Debug and resolve camera and networking issues across client installations using Linux and AWS - Monitor system issues using AWS CloudWatch, analyzing error codes and logs to identify root causes - Troubleshoot integration issues between edge devices and cloud databases to ensure high performance - Provide escalated technical support for system installations and software deployments - Debug Python and JavaScript code as needed to resolve client-facing problems - Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure effective problem resolution Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role - Proven experience with AWS CloudWatch, Python, Linux/Unix, Git, and command-line interfaces - Strong troubleshooting skills, device log hunting, and system checks - Excellent communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders Why Join Us At Protex AI, you will be part of a pioneering team driving workplace safety.
