Technical Lead - Segment Routing and Network Protocols

Role Overview ACL Digital is looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join their networking team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Layer 3 networking protocols and hands-on experience with Segment Routing technologies to drive the development of OcNOS, a cutting-edge Network Operating System. This is a full-time mid-senior level opportunity for professionals passionate about network software engineering. Key Responsibilities - Implement solutions across Segment Routing MPLS, Segment Routing IPv6, TI-LFA, QoS, BFD and SDN technologies within the IPI OcNOS platform - Design and develop Hardware Abstraction Layer code to integrate merchant silicon and SDKs for seamless forwarding plane solutions across various OcNOS SKUs - Write detailed design specifications, develop code, and conduct unit and functional testing in both Agile and Waterfall environments - Participate actively in architectural discussions, design reviews, peer code reviews, and QA test plan evaluations - Collaborate with multi-site development and architecture teams for feature implementation - Troubleshoot and debug complex protocol-related issues in lab and live customer environments Required Qualifications - 7 or more years of experience in design and development of Layer 3 networking protocols including IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP - Hands-on development experience in Segment Routing domain covering SR-MPLS, OSPF-SR, IS-IS SR, TI-LFA, BFD, and QoS - Hands-on experience with MPLS protocols such as LDP, RSVP, and BGP LU - Working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 services over Segment Routing or MPLS transports including L2VPN, L3VPN, and EVPN - Familiarity with Segment Routing on IPv6 data plane - Experience with IPv4/IPv6 protocols, Access Lists, Route Maps, and Policies - Experience with forwarding plane software and Broadcom SDK, especially Jericho+ chipset - Strong C/C++ coding and debugging skills - Familiarity with network testing and debugging tools Why Join Us ACL Digital offers an environment that encourages technical innovation and collaboration across global teams.
