TAP Tester - Temenos Wealth Suite Front End

Role Overview Cognizant is looking for an experienced banking and financial services testing specialist to join its team in Chennai. This role centres on end-to-end quality assurance for the Temenos Wealth Suite Front End, ensuring that wealth management platforms remain stable, secure, and fully compliant with global financial standards. Key Responsibilities - Design and drive comprehensive test strategies for Temenos Wealth Suite Front End covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing across complex banking workflows - Plan and coordinate end-to-end testing for wealth management features such as portfolio management, order management, client onboarding, and advisory workflows - Develop detailed, reusable test cases and scenarios aligned with Temenos configurations to validate core and custom functionalities across multiple client environments - Execute manual and tool-assisted test cycles to verify application stability, usability, and performance while maintaining clear documentation and traceability to requirements - Identify, log, and track defects with precise root cause observations and collaborate with engineering and business teams to drive timely resolution - Validate data integrity across front-end and downstream systems through test data preparation, reconciliation, and scenario-based validation for key wealth management transactions - Perform impact analysis for change requests and release increments to determine regression scope and prioritize coverage for high-risk components - Create detailed test summary and quality reports highlighting defect trends, risk areas, and release readiness indicators for client-facing systems - Mentor junior team members in testing best practices, wealth management domain concepts, and effective defect management - Partner with automation specialists to identify high-value regression scenarios suitable for automation and provide supporting test cases and acceptance criteria - Participate in client workshops and internal review meetings to present testing approach, status, risks, and mitigation plans Required Qualifications - Extensive hands-on experience testing Temenos Wealth Suite Front End with deep knowledge of wealth management processes including portfolio management, investment orders, and client lifecycle journeys - Strong expertise in the banking and financial services domain covering securities, investment products, and regulatory considerations that influence test design - Proven experience in end-to-end functional testing, system integration testing, and regression testing for enterprise-scale financial platforms supporting multiple markets and currencies - Proficiency in designing detailed test cases, maintaining traceability to requirements, and using defect tracking tools from discovery through closure - Hands-on experience with test management tools, basic data validation query skills, and familiarity with automation frameworks used in banking and financial services - Excellent communication skills to articulate defects, risks, and test outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences including client stakeholders - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business requirements into meaningful test scenarios and clear acceptance criteria Why Join Us Cognizant offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where quality-focused professionals can work with global financial clients on cutting-edge wealth management platforms.
