Sr. Program Manager, Selection UDE (SPEG RBS)

Role Overview Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Selection UDE (SPEG RBS) team in Bengaluru to lead global defect elimination initiatives. In this key leadership role, you will partner with tech and retail teams to drive automation, scale operations, and enhance vendor and customer experiences. Your mission is to improve efficiency across worldwide stores, direct strategic planning, and achieve key business performance metrics. Key Responsibilities - Drive defect elimination and operational efficiency for worldwide retail under the Selection Defects program - Partner with upstream technology and retail product teams to design and implement highly scalable solutions - Own and deliver critical business metrics, including buying automation, forecasting accuracy, and cost-out initiatives - Lead Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews with senior leadership across Retail and RBS organizations - Manage the overall planning, budgeting, delivery, productivity, and strategic growth of the program - Identify downstream system defects and implement preventive measures at the place of origin to prevent payment issues - Engage with central product teams to build customer and vendor confidence through quality reporting and delivery - Mentor project teams and establish robust process improvement and metrics tracking frameworks Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, engineering, or operations - At least 5 years of program or project management experience delivering complex cross-functional projects - At least 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams - Proven capability defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine process improvements - Experience in retail operations, vendor management, or catalog defect elimination systems Why Join Us Amazon offers a highly collaborative, inclusive, and fast-paced environment where your innovations can scale globally.
