Site Reliability Engineer III

Role Overview LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring an experienced Site Reliability Engineer III to join its cloud infrastructure team in Chennai. This is a high-visibility mid-senior role that works closely with Development, QA, IT Operations, and Customer Operations teams to drive cloud migration and infrastructure reliability initiatives. You will play a critical part in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud systems while contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering culture. Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable systems running on Kubernetes - Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for system deployments and scaling operations - Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and lead incident post-mortems - Partner with development teams to improve infrastructure supporting their delivery needs - Manage code deployments, environment updates, and configuration changes across multiple platforms - Support cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to AWS cloud infrastructure Required Qualifications - 4 or more years of professional experience in SRE or DevOps roles on a major cloud platform - Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture design - Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet - Experience with containerised workloads including Kubernetes, Helm, EKS, and Docker - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD - Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch, or AWS CloudTrail - Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT; cloud certification in AWS or Azure preferred Why Join Us At LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of the globally respected RELX Group, you will work alongside some of the brightest technology minds in an inclusive environment that invests in your growth, cross-training, and long-term career development. - 4+ years experience in SRE or DevOps roles on AWS or equivalent cloud platform - Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, EKS, and containerised workload management - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible - Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD - Knowledge of serverless solutions including AWS Lambda or equivalent - Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch - Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell - Familiarity with Git-based source control tools and SDLC processes - Strong communication skills to discuss technical solutions with varied audiences - BSc, BE, or MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT - Cloud certification in AWS or Azure preferred
