Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview HPE Aruba Networking, a leading provider of next-generation network access solutions and a proud division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, is looking for a skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer to join its growing team in Bengaluru. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of software development and operations, requiring you to drive reliability, scalability, and performance across complex distributed cloud environments. You will play a key role in supporting HPE Networking SASE products and ensuring seamless application availability at scale. Key Responsibilities - Enable SRE support and monitoring for HPE Networking SASE products to ensure applications meet performance and reliability standards - Build and implement strategies to proactively detect, address, and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog - Ensure high availability and consistent performance of cloud-based applications and services - Collaborate closely with development teams to uphold application reliability in production environments - Analyse data from monitoring tools to generate actionable insights that improve product performance - Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerised application workloads - Lead and participate in incident management processes, conduct root cause analysis, and implement measures to prevent recurrence Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline - 5 to 7 years of overall experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications and building or integrating observability tools for Kubernetes, Helm, or Docker container environments - Demonstrated expertise in monitoring and observability tools including Grafana, Datadog, or Prometheus - Proficiency in working with logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards - Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Familiarity with incident management processes and best practices - Willingness to work night shifts as required - Solid understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, routing, firewalls, SNMP, and internet traffic engineering - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly - An ownership mindset with a proactive and accountability-driven approach Why Join Us At HPE Aruba Networking, you will be part of a globally inclusive team that invests in your personal and professional growth through targeted development programmes and a culture that champions bold thinking.
