Server Performance Benchmarking Engineer

Role Overview Qualcomm is seeking a Server Performance Benchmarking Engineer to guide our server CPU performance and optimization strategies for ARMv9 server platforms. You will lead benchmarking activities across silicon, firmware, kernel, and software workloads to deliver exceptional product efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of engineers to define performance benchmarking strategies and roadmaps - Characterize CPU, memory, I/O, and ARMv9 features using cloud and standard SPEC benchmark suites - Track performance KPIs, identify performance regressions, and automate CI/CD pipeline tests - Conduct root cause analysis using profiling tools and guide optimizations in BIOS, UEFI, and kernels - Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cloud partner teams to validate performance workloads Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - 1+ years of experience in CPU performance engineering or system software development - Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture, memory systems, NUMA, and PCIe/CXL - Programming proficiency in Python, C/C++, and scripting languages Why Join Us Work at the absolute forefront of semiconductor innovation with a global leader that provides equal opportunities and invests heavily in your skills.
