Senior Technical Consultant

Role Overview Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join its HPE Operations team in Chennai. This is a senior onsite role where you will serve as a principal consultant responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions for global clients. You will play a critical role in shaping digital transformation outcomes and guiding customers at the highest strategic levels. Key Responsibilities - Design and deliver detailed technical architectures and enterprise solutions for large, complex client environments - Lead cross-functional teams including client staff through full solution lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation - Provide advanced technical consulting and strategic direction to senior IT leadership at customer organisations - Resolve complex, multi-vendor technical issues and develop innovative new methods to ensure on-time solution delivery - Contribute to sales activities by producing proposals, developing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities - Mentor and coach team members while actively participating in practice improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives - Represent HPE at industry conferences, publish thought leadership content, and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders Required Qualifications - Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 12 or more years of professional experience, or 15 or more years of relevant experience without a Master's degree - Proven expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, multi-vendor environments, and complex technology architectures - Recognised subject matter expert with vendor or industry certifications across multiple discipline areas - Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and deliver solutions across multiple technologies simultaneously - Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently at all levels including public forums and executive settings - Experience developing reusable solutions, architecture specification documents, and detailed project plans Why Join Us At HPE, you will be part of a globally inclusive team that invests in your personal and professional growth through structured development programmes and a culture that celebrates bold thinking. - 12+ years of professional experience in IT consulting or enterprise architecture - Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 15+ years experience without Masters) - Deep knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and multi-vendor interoperability - Experience leading cross-functional teams in delivery of complex technology solutions - Vendor or industry certifications across more than one discipline area - Strong consulting, proposal writing, and client relationship management skills - Expertise in IaaS, Infrastructure as a Service, and cloud or hybrid IT environments - Ability to develop Architecture Specification deliverables aligned to business requirements - Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive and public audiences - Demonstrated capability in mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing
