Senior Specialist - SAP

Role Overview Bristlecone is seeking a Senior Specialist - SAP IBP in Bengaluru to design, develop, and implement SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions. In this role, you will translate supply chain business requirements into technical configurations to optimize planning processes. You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor junior consultants to drive digital supply chain transformations for global enterprises. Key Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IBP modules to meet supply chain objectives - Partner with cross-functional business teams to translate supply planning needs into effective configurations and workflows - Perform system health checks, analyze performance, and execute necessary upgrades within the SAP IBP environment - Act as the primary technical contact, resolving complex user queries and advising on SAP IBP best practices - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all system configurations, design templates, and operational playbooks - Mentor and coach junior SAP consultants, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical growth Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP module design, configuration, and support - Solid functional understanding of supply chain planning, forecasting, demand-supply matching, and inventory optimization - Proven track record of successful enterprise-scale SAP implementations - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work with remote global teams - Experience with SAP IBP reporting, analytics, and data integration patterns Why Join Us Bristlecone is ranked among the top ten supply chain service leaders by Gartner. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP modules and configurations - Solid understanding of supply chain planning, demand planning, and inventory optimization workflows - Proven experience in designing and delivering end-to-end SAP IBP solutions - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data and provide actionable reports - Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with global stakeholders - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
