Senior Security Engineer - Enterprise Applications and Endpoints

Recognised by the World Economic Forum and CNBC as a top fintech innovator, YouTrip is expanding its security team and seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen its First Line of Defense function. This role is a hands-on technical leadership position responsible for safeguarding enterprise systems, endpoints, applications, and cloud environments in a fast-paced regulated fintech environment. Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security controls across endpoints, infrastructure, SaaS applications, and cloud environments - Own and enhance security tooling including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management platforms, and threat intelligence integrations - Lead incident response and investigation activities including containment, root cause analysis, and post-incident process improvements - Own the enterprise vulnerability management program covering scanning, prioritization, remediation governance, and reporting - Coordinate and validate penetration testing efforts and drive timely remediation of identified gaps - Conduct proactive threat hunting and monitor emerging risks relevant to the organization's technology stack - Develop and tune detection rules, use cases, and monitoring content to improve threat visibility and reduce false positives - Support business continuity planning, cybersecurity drill execution, and security guidance during system changes and deployments - Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure security controls are operating effectively - Drive improvements to security operations maturity through process refinement, playbook development, automation, and tooling upgrades Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline - 5 or more years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations roles - Strong hands-on experience with endpoint security including EDR, hardening, and patch management - Proven expertise in vulnerability management, threat hunting, threat intelligence, and incident response - Experience implementing and administering security tooling and integrating threat intelligence content feeds - Solid understanding of security controls, access management, logging, and monitoring practices - Working knowledge of cloud security concepts with AWS exposure considered an advantage - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, and CIS - Experience using JIRA or similar GRC and ticketing platforms for issue tracking and remediation management - Industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CIPP/E are preferred - Strong analytical mindset with a clear bias toward action, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration Why Join Us YouTrip offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial work culture that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation, backed by over US$110 million in funding and global recognition as a top fintech company.
