Senior ReactJS and Playwright Developer

Role Overview ValueLabs is hiring a Senior ReactJS and Playwright Developer for its Digital Product team based in Chennai. This is a full-time, mid-senior level opportunity suited for an experienced frontend engineer with a strong command of automation testing. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 7 years of hands-on ReactJS development experience, preferably with exposure to the banking or wealth management domain. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, responsive enterprise web applications using ReactJS with TypeScript, HTML, Tailwind CSS, and CSS-in-JS techniques - Build reusable, self-contained, and testable UI components following React core principles including hooks, context API, and component lifecycle management - Architect and automate build and deployment processes using task runners, CI/CD pipelines, and related scripting tools - Write automation test scripts using Playwright or equivalent frameworks to ensure product quality and delivery efficiency - Develop and execute unit tests using Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, or similar testing frameworks - Collaborate closely within an Agile Scrum team to deliver features incrementally and adapt to evolving requirements - Monitor, benchmark, and continuously improve frontend application performance - Document code inline using JSDoc or equivalent standards and maintain clean, readable codebases Required Qualifications - Minimum 7 years of coding experience in ReactJS with TypeScript - Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation, ECMAScript latest versions, and the JavaScript object model - Hands-on experience with React state management libraries such as Redux, Flux, or Context API - Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines, tools, and package managers such as npm and yarn - Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, version control systems, and remote deployment and CI/CD tools - Experience with Styled Components and other CSS-in-JS approaches - Understanding of linting tools such as TSLint and Prettier - Mandatory domain experience in banking or retail sector; wealth product knowledge is a strong advantage - Angular as a secondary skill is an added plus - Prior experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment is highly preferred Why Join Us ValueLabs offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where engineers work on meaningful fintech and wealth management products at scale.
