Senior Product Manager

Role Overview Toast is a technology company dedicated to helping restaurants and local businesses thrive in an increasingly digital landscape. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Team in Bengaluru and take ownership of critical restaurant operations workflows including Cash Management, Close Out, and a brand-new 0-to-1 Memberships product aimed at high-growth restaurant segments. Key Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end Cash and Close domain across point-of-sale and web surfaces to deliver a seamless, reliable experience for restaurant operators - Partner cross-functionally to launch and scale the Memberships product from beta through general availability, supporting Toast's vertical expansion strategy - Build deep expertise in the Toast POS ecosystem and serve as an internal advocate and evangelist for your product domain - Manage and rigorously prioritise the product backlog, ensuring clarity, purpose, and momentum across your teams - Write detailed user stories and product specifications that effectively communicate requirements to Engineering in an agile environment - Lead scrum ceremonies and maintain strong stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success - Gather direct customer feedback through meetings and correspondence to surface insights and close the loop on feature requests - Define, monitor, and analyse product adoption and usage metrics to guide data-driven decisions - Collaborate with Product Marketing and Customer Education on go-to-market strategies and release planning - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities - Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate discovery, improve prioritisation, and enhance product development workflows Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on product management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering B2B SaaS products at scale - Proven ability to lead 0-to-1 product launches as well as maintain and evolve mature, high-scale products - Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and simplify complex problems - Strong ability to work autonomously across multiple workstreams with varied stakeholders - Familiarity with AI-powered tools and curiosity about how emerging technology can enhance product workflows and customer outcomes - Willingness to collaborate across time zones with some overlapping hours with the US East Coast team - Experience in restaurant POS or hospitality technology is an advantage, though not mandatory Why Join Us Toast offers a competitive total rewards package that goes beyond great earnings potential, providing a healthy and flexible work environment that supports your evolving needs.
