Senior Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to join our growing team at dotSolved Systems Inc. in Chennai. In this role, you will spearhead Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations and optimizations, helping our clients achieve meaningful finance transformation through the smart use of technology. This is a full-time onsite or hybrid opportunity with shift timings aligned to US Pacific Time (3:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST). Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations covering requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support across modules such as FAH, GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax - Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend tailored solutions leveraging Oracle Fusion capabilities - Configure and fine-tune finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Tax - Prepare comprehensive functional documentation including BRD, MD50, test cases, and training guides while mapping business processes to Oracle best practices - Collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver customizations, reports, data migration tasks, and interface requirements - Facilitate User Acceptance Testing, conduct training sessions, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer to business users and stakeholders - Ensure adherence to SOX and ITGC controls, data security standards, and internal audit requirements - Stay current with Oracle Fusion quarterly updates and industry trends to continuously recommend process improvements Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials - Practical experience configuring and supporting GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax modules - Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings as well as regulatory compliance - Proven track record in conducting fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and producing high-quality functional documentation - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders at all levels Why Join Us dotSolved Systems Inc. offers a dynamic consulting environment where you will work on impactful Oracle Cloud projects for a diverse global client base. - Minimum 5 years of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials functional consulting experience - Hands-on configuration of GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax modules - Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and regulatory compliance - Experience with fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and functional documentation - Familiarity with SOX and ITGC controls and data security policies - Preferred: experience with Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI, FRS, and BI Publisher - Preferred: knowledge of data migration tools FBDI and ADFDI - Preferred: Oracle Cloud Financials certification - Preferred: exposure to Agile or Waterfall project delivery methodologies
