Senior Operations Analyst

Role Overview Syniverse, one of the world's most connected companies, is looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to join their Bengaluru team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that demands strong technical expertise in application support and operations. The ideal candidate will take ownership of complex technical problems, deliver solutions efficiently, and contribute meaningfully within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities - Provide end-to-end technical support by diagnosing root causes and implementing appropriate solutions - Adhere to SLA guidelines including timely follow-up, escalation, and on-time resolution of support tickets - Analyse operational metrics to identify trends, achievements, and deviations - Participate in ticket review processes and ensure quality resolutions are delivered - Prepare and submit status reports on operational activities as required by management - Document newly discovered solutions and develop production-ready support scripts - Continuously monitor production servers for system health, resource utilisation, file transfer rates, database insert rates, and logs - Monitor application health including file processing, data loading, scheduled task completion, report generation, and application logs - Use alarm monitoring tools to interpret alerts and resolve or escalate issues appropriately - Mentor and guide junior team members and serve as a reference resource Required Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in application support, technical customer support, problem management, relational databases, programming languages, or software development - Prior experience in telecom operations is preferred - Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 shift environment covering helpdesk support, system monitoring, and application support - Strong analytical, multitasking, and communication skills both verbal and written - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team - Familiarity with testing, troubleshooting techniques, and detail-oriented problem solving Why Join Us Syniverse offers a competitive total compensation package, flexible work arrangements, and a leadership team that is deeply committed to building an inclusive, collaborative, and transparent workplace culture.
