Senior Officer, Payroll & Welfare, Ballabgarh

Role Overview Goodyear is looking for a Senior Officer of Payroll and Welfare to join our team at the Ballabgarh plant in Faridabad. In this role, you will manage daily attendance and monthly wages for shop-floor workers, ensure compliance with Haryana labour rules, and oversee factory employee welfare facilities. This is a vital position in factory HR operations, supporting a safe, compliant, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily attendance, shifts, and leave records for shop-floor workers via biometric systems - Process monthly wages for hourly workers, including overtime calculations under Haryana statutory guidelines - Maintain all mandatory registers under the Factories Act and Haryana Factories Rules (Form 12, 15, and 25) - Prepare and submit half-yearly and annual statutory returns to the Labour Department - Oversee factory welfare facilities including the canteen, crèche, drinking water, and rest shelters - Resolve worker grievances related to payroll and PF to maintain healthy industrial relations Required Qualifications - MBA in HR, Master of Social Work (MSW), or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution - Minimum four years of experience in factory HR operations, time office management, and employee welfare - In-depth understanding of the Factories Act, 1948, and Haryana-specific labour amendments - Hands-on experience with payroll software, HRMS, and advanced Excel for wage processing - Fluency in Hindi and English is essential for worker interactions and official documentation Why Join Us Goodyear offers a supportive and safety-first workplace where you can directly impact the well-being of our production workforce.
