Senior Manager Operational Excellence

Role Overview Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence in Bengaluru to lead cross-functional process improvement programs across our global services centers. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and lead a high-performing team of Continuous Improvement managers. Partner with global stakeholders within a GCC environment to design next-generation operational workflows. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic direction for cross-functional process improvement programs to enhance business performance - Lead and develop a global team of Continuous Improvement managers across Alcon's AGS centers - Own the annual objectives and roadmaps for the Continuous Improvement Program, tracking and reporting progress - Identify and execute Lean transformation opportunities, including Gemba walks and Kaizen events - Mentor and coach internal candidates through Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications - Design and implement automation solutions, workflow tools, and AI-driven process insights - Establish robust KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making - Ensure strict compliance with GxP regulations and standard operating procedures across all service operations Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred - At least 9 to 12 years of professional experience, including people management and operational improvement - Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt with a proven track record of project execution - Strong knowledge of GCC functions such as Finance, Quality, HR, IT, Legal, and Supply Chain - Proficiency in RPA, workflow automation tools, process mapping, and data analytics dashboards Why Join Us At Alcon, you will play a critical role in enhancing global eye health within an inclusive, growth-oriented environment.
