Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Executive to play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. The Inventory Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, optimizing stock levels, and facilitating smooth material flow for production. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of inventory control, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using designated inventory management systems. Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to avoid stock outs. Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies. Order Processing: Process purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize order quantities and lead times. Stock Analysis: Conduct regular stock analyses to identify slow-moving items, excess inventory, and potential shortages. Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize holding costs. Data Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key performance indicators. Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to understand material
requirements
and ensure timely availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics and quality control, to streamline processes. Space Optimization: Optimize warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of inventory items. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
