Senior Engineer - Network Engineering

Role Overview CBTS is looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer (Network Engineer II) to join its Chennai team in a hybrid work model with 24x7 availability. This role is central to designing, deploying, and managing network infrastructure for enterprise and midmarket managed service clients across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SD-WAN, SASE, and NaaS technologies along with strong troubleshooting capabilities across complex multi-vendor environments. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for managed service clients including SD-WAN, SASE, and NaaS solutions - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues across large enterprise environments - Collaborate with Managed Service Providers, Enterprise Architects, Security teams, and Engineers for network transformation and proof of concept initiatives - Evaluate and recommend tools and products, and contribute to technology roadmap planning - Review design documents and provide written and verbal technical feedback to stakeholders - Implement networking best practices, standards, and reference architectures across client environments - Apply security measures to protect client network infrastructure and ensure compliance with architectural standards - Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences including clients and project managers Required Qualifications - 7 to 12 years of experience in network engineering within an MSP or enterprise environment - Hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware Velocloud, or Palo Alto - Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching in Data Center and Enterprise environments - Experience with Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto firewalls and troubleshooting - CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred - Familiarity with network and security automation tools such as Ansible, Python, JavaScript, or Terraform is a plus - Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage - Knowledge of network vendor APIs is a plus Why Join Us CBTS offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you will work on cutting-edge technology solutions for leading enterprises across North America.
