Senior Automation Test Engineer - Java, Selenium and SQL

Role Overview Gainwell Technologies is looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and SQL to join their healthcare technology team. This is a remote, full-time role focused entirely on product development and does not involve access to any Protected Health Information or sensitive client data. You will work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to building technology solutions that improve health outcomes for vulnerable communities. Key Responsibilities - Architect, build, and maintain scalable and robust automation testing frameworks - Define and enforce automation standards, best practices, and test coverage goals across the team - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and release management workflows - Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to continuously improve testing efficiency - Perform thorough code reviews on automation scripts developed by team members - Lead root cause analysis efforts for complex and recurring software defects - Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers, fostering skill development and quality culture Required Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of QA experience with a strong focus on test automation - Advanced hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks and testing tools - Proficient coding skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C Sharp - Extensive experience in API testing, integration testing, and regression testing - Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices - Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product leadership teams - Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is preferred - Familiarity with cloud-native testing on AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage - Exposure to containerized environments using Docker or Kubernetes is preferred Why Join Us Gainwell Technologies offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where your technical expertise is recognized and rewarded with clear career growth opportunities. - 6 or more years of QA and automation testing experience - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C Sharp - Hands-on experience with Selenium and modern automation frameworks - Proficiency in SQL and database testing - Experience with API, integration, and regression testing - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Understanding of Agile development methodologies - Experience with JMeter or Gatling for performance testing is preferred - Cloud testing experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred - Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
