Security and Encryption Specialist

Role Overview Celestica is looking for a skilled Security and Encryption Specialist to join its Information Technology team in Chennai. In this mid-senior role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise-grade encryption and identity security platforms that protect critical business infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver robust security solutions and ensure seamless platform operations. Key Responsibilities - Administer and maintain security platforms including Microsoft ADFS, Thales SafeNet, Thales CipherTrust Transparent Encryption, Key Management systems, and Certificate Lifecycle Management tools such as AppviewX - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for in-scope security solutions and work with IT teams to design and implement effective solutions - Troubleshoot system issues, determine appropriate corrective actions, and lead resolution efforts in a timely manner - Engage with internal stakeholders and technology communities to explore alignment opportunities for security solutions - Deliver system training to end users and actively participate in or lead IT projects as needed Required Qualifications - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a similar security or encryption-focused IT role - Strong understanding of encryption technologies, TLS, PKI, Certificate Management, Key Management, and Secrets Management - Experience with Privileged Access Management, Federated Authentication, Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts - Knowledge of Identity and Access Management including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reconciliation - Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, OIDC, MFA, and Passkey, along with Identity Providers like Okta, Ping, Entra ID, or ADFS - Basic to intermediate coding skills in Python, PowerShell, or Java - Experience supporting IT infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments - Bachelor degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Why Join Us Celestica offers a collaborative and innovation-driven environment where your expertise in security and encryption will make a meaningful impact across global IT operations.
