SAP TM Technical Consultant

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled SAP TM Technical Consultant to design, develop, and implement comprehensive SAP Transportation Management solutions. This role focuses on leveraging ABAP expertise to create customized solutions while managing system integrations and supporting technical operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Develop and customize SAP TM solutions using ABAP including reports, enhancements, and interface objects for transportation management processes - Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications for freight planning, execution, and charge management operations - Implement and maintain integrations between SAP TM and other modules including SAP SD, MM, and EWM systems - Monitor system performance and resolve technical defects in the TM module while supporting system upgrades Required Qualifications - Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP including Object-Oriented ABAP, debugging, and enhancement techniques such as BAdIs and Enhancements - Solid understanding of SAP Transportation Management concepts including order management, planning, and freight settlement Why Join Us Capgemini offers excellent career progression opportunities in a dynamic IT consulting environment. - 3 to 8 years of experience in SAP TM technical implementation - Expert level knowledge of SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented programming - Proven experience in full-cycle SAP TM implementations preferably on S/4HANA - Strong understanding of SAP Transportation Management module and freight management processes - Experience with IDOCs, APIs, and PI/PO integration tools - Knowledge of BAdIs and enhancement techniques - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
