SAP TM Consultant

Role Overview Wipro is looking for an experienced SAP TM Consultant to join its consulting team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise in SAP Transportation Management within S/4HANA environments, working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and implement end-to-end logistics solutions. This is a full-time permanent role suited for professionals who thrive in client-facing, delivery-focused settings and are ready to take ownership of complex SAP TM landscapes. Key Responsibilities - Configure and maintain SAP TM components and ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation at all stages of the project - Lead full-cycle SAP TM implementations including blueprint preparation, gap analysis, end-to-end process design, testing strategy, cutover planning, and training delivery - Review and evaluate existing as-is business processes within SAP TM and recommend improvements aligned with best practices - Provide expert guidance on integrating SAP TM with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, EWM, and FI, as well as with external subscribing systems - Create detailed functional specifications for development objects including interfaces, conversions, enhancements, reports, and forms, and guide the development team in delivering those programs - Support business users during end-user training sessions and assist with the extraction, transformation, and cleansing of SAP TM data objects - Mentor junior and mid-level team members on technology, architecture, and application delivery best practices - Engage confidently with senior leadership and client stakeholders to present solutions and drive decisions Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred - Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP TM development and implementation, with at least 4 years in logistics applications - Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management - Involvement in at least two full-cycle SAP TM implementation projects with direct ownership of business process design - SAP certification in configuration or a specific SAP module is mandatory - Strong understanding of supply chain business processes across cross-industry and industry-specific planning scenarios - Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities Why Join Us Wipro is a globally recognised technology and consulting leader that offers unparalleled opportunities for career growth, continuous learning, and exposure to large-scale digital transformation programmes.
