SAP PSA Solution Architect and Functional Lead

Role Overview Conexus is seeking a skilled SAP PSA Solution Architect and Functional Lead to join a high-profile global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme on a long-term freelance or contract basis. This is a fully remote role focused on the upstream finance workstream, requiring deep expertise in Production Sharing Accounting within S/4HANA environments. The position offers strategic leadership responsibilities with exposure to global stakeholders and complex upstream finance processes. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end design and architecture of SAP PSA solutions across the programme - Serve as the primary PSA design authority and decision-maker throughout delivery - Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions - Advise business and IT stakeholders on PSA best practices and solution design approaches - Oversee PSA delivery quality and review and approve related deliverables - Align PSA processes with related JVA and PRA workstreams - Support requirements gathering, solution design, testing phases, and deployment activities - Ensure adherence to SAP standard capabilities and clean-core principles - Provide technical and functional guidance to globally distributed delivery teams Required Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience with SAP PSA in S/4HANA environments - Solid understanding of integration between SAP PSA and SAP JVA - Prior experience in a Functional Lead, Solution Architect, or Design Authority capacity - Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language - Proven experience within global SAP transformation programmes - Background in Oil and Gas, Energy, or Natural Resources industry preferred - Willingness to accommodate some US time zone overlap Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity for a senior PSA specialist to take on a strategic architecture role within a large-scale global S/4HANA transformation, offering long-term project engagement and the chance to shape future-state upstream finance architecture.
