SAP FICO Functional Consultant - Tax Senior Professional

Role Overview EY's GDS Tax Technology team is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to lead financial transformation projects with a focus on tax technology solutions. You will work alongside partners, clients and subject matter experts to develop and integrate technology solutions that enhance value and improve operational efficiencies. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex regulatory requirements and implement cutting-edge SAP S/4HANA solutions. Key Responsibilities - Lead functional requirement workshops and meetings with clients and internal teams to create detailed business requirement specifications and user stories - Design and implement SAP FICO solutions in S/4HANA environment covering GL, AP, AR, AA and CO modules - Create functional design documentation, key design decisions and present solutions to stakeholders - Manage requirement scope changes and ensure traceability through comprehensive documentation and MOM's - Develop business process models illustrating current and future state processes using modelling tools - Work with offshore teams to convert functional solutions into technical implementations - Conduct system validation, create test cases and perform functional and user acceptance testing - Deliver end user training and documentation including user manuals and standard operating procedures Required Qualifications - CA or CMA qualification with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience - Minimum 2 to 4 full cycle implementation experience in financial transformation projects preferably in tax or accounting domain - Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-OM and CO-PA modules - Tax domain expertise in indirect tax, withholding tax, international tax and transfer pricing - Experience with SAP Fiori apps and real-time reporting capabilities - Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills Why Join Us Join EY to shape your future with confidence and help build a better working world. - CA or CMA qualification - 4 to 8 years post-qualification experience - 2 to 4 full cycle SAP implementation experience - SAP FICO certification preferred - Strong knowledge of SAP FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-OM and CO-PA - Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment - Tax domain knowledge in indirect tax and withholding tax - Financial Planning and Analysis modelling experience - Business Intelligence tools experience - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Excellent oral and written communication abilities - Experience working in agile framework - Ability to manage cross-functional virtual teams
