Sales Manager - LAP| Ernakulam

Job Description

To identify and develop business opportunities through consultative engagement, market assessment and customer suitability evaluation. The role involves recommending banking solutions, assessing commercial opportunities, evaluating customer viability and contributing to decisions that support portfolio growth, profitability and business development objectives.

Responsibilities

• Drive acquisition of LAP business through Branch Banking channels and open market sourcing.
• Identify, develop, and convert business opportunities through relationship management and customer engagement.
• Assess customer requirements, financial viability, and suitability for LAP products.
• Liaise with Credit, Underwriting, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end processing from sourcing to disbursement.
• Ensure timely turnaround and superior customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Achieve assigned business, disbursement, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.
• Drive cross-sell of Liability, Insurance, and other Bank products to enhance customer relationships and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with branch teams and sourcing channels to generate quality leads.
• Monitor portfolio quality and ensure compliance with the Bank's credit and operational guidelines.
• Analyse customer financials, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements, to support business sourcing and customer evaluation.
• Support business development initiatives and market penetration activities within the assigned geography.

Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 7 years.
