Treasury Officer - Back Office| Mumbai

Job Description

Responsible for verifying, authorizing, settling and reconciling treasury transactions across foreign exchange, money market, interbank and other treasury products while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Verify, authorize, settle, and reconcile treasury transactions including FX, Money Market and interbank deals.
• Manage reporting and settlement activities with CCIL, including trade reporting, net position management and settlement obligations.
• Perform Nostro and Vostro account monitoring, reconciliation, balance confirmation, and fund position management.
• Prepare, validate and submit treasury-related regulatory returns and reports to RBI and internal stakeholders.
• Process and monitor treasury-related SWIFT, RTGS and foreign currency settlement transactions within defined timelines.
• Support branches and business units on foreign exchange transactions, inward remittances and treasury-related operational queries.
• Perform daily reconciliation of front-office and back-office deals and ensure timely resolution of exceptions.
• Manage treasury accounting entries, brokerage payments, funding requirements and settlement-related controls.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, CCIL requirements, internal policies and treasury operational procedures.
• Coordinate with counterparties, exchange houses, auditors and internal stakeholders to support efficient treasury operations.
