Remote Mathematics Expert

Role Overview Turing is looking for talented and driven mathematics professionals with a strong command of intermediate to advanced mathematical concepts and the ability to apply them to complex, real-world problems. This is a remote contract opportunity suited for individuals passionate about deep mathematical reasoning, whether at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. Your contributions will directly support the development of advanced mathematical proficiency in leading large language models used by top AI companies worldwide. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement advanced mathematical models and computational techniques across diverse mathematical domains - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research initiatives by providing mathematical expertise and analytical insights - Review and engage with cutting-edge mathematical literature including recent research papers and emerging methodologies - Apply quantitative and computational approaches to analyze data, optimize models, and support innovative problem-solving strategies - Contribute to ongoing research projects through rigorous mathematical reasoning and strong technical proficiency Required Qualifications - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline - Demonstrated expertise in at least four of the following seven domains: computable functions and mathematical logic, algebra and number theory, linear algebra and matrix theory, topology and geometry, real analysis, probability and statistics, and applied mathematics - Proven ability to solve complex mathematical problems through research, publications, academic accomplishments, or project work - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail - Good communication skills with the ability to explain advanced mathematical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - Knowledge of Python and data analysis tools is preferred but not mandatory - Experience working in multidisciplinary or research-driven team environments Why Join Us Turing partners with the world's leading AI and LLM companies, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of artificial intelligence through your mathematical expertise.
