Remote LLM Trainer - Agent Completion Tasks

Role Overview Turing is one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world, working with leading foundational LLM labs to advance model capabilities in reasoning, coding, and agentic behaviour. As a Remote LLM Trainer for Agent Completion tasks, you will contribute to improving large language models by generating high-quality, proprietary training data. This is a six-week contractor engagement requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week with a four-hour daily overlap with PST. Key Responsibilities - Design and craft multi-turn conversations that simulate realistic interactions between users and AI assistants using tools like calendar, email, maps, and drive - Play both the user and the assistant roles in dialogues, including simulating appropriate tool calls and function-calling sequences when required - Select and apply available tools logically, ensuring each conversation demonstrates natural language, contextual understanding, and intelligent decision-making - Generate training examples that showcase the assistant handling feasible tasks, gracefully declining infeasible ones, and maintaining engaging general chat - Adhere strictly to defined formatting and quality guidelines using an internal playbook, iterating on examples based on reviewer feedback - Collaborate with peers and reviewers to maintain consistency and high standards across all deliverables Required Qualifications - Minimum three years of professional experience in a technical or analytical role - Solid understanding of APIs, data formats such as JSON, and logical reasoning; specific programming language or tech stack is flexible - Strong technical reasoning skills with the ability to model real-world assistant behaviour through tool-based APIs - Excellent written English communication with clarity, appropriate tone, and instructional coherence - Attention to detail in crafting realistic multi-turn scenarios and responses - Prior experience with LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is an added advantage - Ability to follow detailed guidelines and maintain high formatting consistency throughout the engagement Why Join Us This role offers you the opportunity to work fully remotely on cutting-edge AI projects alongside some of the most prominent foundational LLM companies in the world.
