Remote LLM Trainer - Agent Completion Tasks

In this remote contract role, you will contribute directly to improving large language models by generating high-quality proprietary training and evaluation data. Your primary focus will be on Agent Completion data generation, where you will simulate realistic multi-turn conversations between users and AI assistants that leverage function-calling tools to accomplish complex real-world tasks. Key Responsibilities - Design and craft multi-turn dialogues simulating natural interactions between users and AI assistants using tools such as calendar, email, maps, and drive applications - Play both the user and assistant roles within conversations, including simulating tool calls and function-calling behavior where appropriate - Select and apply available tools with logical flow, ensuring proper usage of APIs and function calls throughout each dialogue - Create examples that demonstrate the assistant's ability to complete feasible tasks, recognise infeasible requests, and maintain coherent general conversation when tools are not needed - Ensure all generated conversations meet defined formatting and quality standards as outlined in the internal playbook - Iterate on conversation samples based on reviewer feedback to continuously improve realism, clarity, and training value - Collaborate with peers and reviewers to maintain consistency and uphold high-quality standards across all deliverables Required Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a technical or analytical role - Working knowledge of any programming language or tech stack with a strong understanding of APIs, JSON data formats, and logical reasoning - Solid technical reasoning skills and the ability to model real-world assistant behaviour using tool-based APIs - Strong written English communication skills with emphasis on clarity, tone, and instructional coherence - Ability to break down complex tasks and simulate realistic, contextually accurate dialogues - Familiarity with LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is an added advantage - Ability to follow detailed formatting guidelines with high consistency and attention to detail Why Join Us This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of AI development, contributing directly to frontier model improvement alongside some of the world's leading LLM companies. - 3 or more years of experience in a technical or analytical professional role - Strong understanding of APIs, JSON data formats, and logical thinking - Ability to simulate multi-turn conversations and model AI assistant behaviour - Excellent written English communication and instructional clarity - Creativity and attention to detail in crafting realistic dialogue scenarios - Experience with LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is a plus - Ability to consistently follow detailed formatting and quality guidelines - Availability of at least 4 hours per day with a minimum of 20 hours per week and 4 hours of overlap with PST
