Remote LLM Trainer - Agent Completion Tasks

This contract role involves contributing to a project with a foundational LLM company, where you will generate high-quality proprietary training and evaluation data to improve Large Language Models. Your work will directly impact how next-generation AI assistants think, reason, and interact with users across complex real-world scenarios. Key Responsibilities - Design and simulate multi-turn conversations between users and AI assistants that make use of tools such as calendar, email, maps, and cloud storage apps - Play both the user and the assistant roles within each dialogue, including simulating tool or function calls where appropriate - Select the right moments for the assistant to invoke available tools, ensuring logical flow and proper use of function-calling APIs - Craft dialogues that reflect natural language, contextual awareness, and intelligent decision-making across multiple conversation turns - Generate training examples that show the assistant handling feasible tasks, gracefully declining infeasible ones, and maintaining engaging chat when tools are not needed - Follow internal formatting and quality playbooks strictly, iterating on examples based on reviewer feedback - Collaborate with peers and reviewers to uphold consistency and high standards across all deliverables Required Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a technical or analytical role - Familiarity with any programming language or tech stack along with a solid understanding of APIs and data formats such as JSON - Strong logical reasoning skills and the ability to model realistic assistant behaviour using tool-based APIs - Excellent written English communication skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and instructional coherence - Ability to break down complex tasks and simulate realistic dialogues that reflect both user expectations and assistant limitations - Experience with LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is an added advantage - High attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed guidelines with consistency Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects with some of the most influential LLM companies in the world from the comfort of your home. - 3 or more years of experience in a technical or analytical field - Working knowledge of APIs and data formats like JSON - Strong logical and analytical thinking skills - Ability to simulate realistic multi-turn AI assistant dialogues - Excellent written communication skills in English - Creative thinking and attention to detail - Familiarity with LLMs or function-calling frameworks is a plus - Ability to commit at least 4 hours per day and 20 hours per week with 4-hour overlap with PST
