Record to Report Specialist

Role Overview Genpact is hiring experienced accounting professionals for the Record to Report (R2R) function at its Noida office. This is a work-from-office opportunity requiring immediate joiners with solid hands-on knowledge of general ledger accounting, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and month-end close processes. The role is part of a high-performing finance team supporting global enterprise clients in a fast-paced BPO environment. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and post month-end journals after thorough analysis of prepaid and accruals accounts - Develop and maintain the monthly closing calendar and provide daily status updates to clients during close periods - Execute internal controls and process checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to timelines - Supervise intercompany reconciliation and follow up with relevant teams to resolve variances before month-end - Perform daily bank reconciliations and clearing, identifying and resolving open items before the close - Build and review payment proposals in SAP or ERP, including duplicate payment checks and quality reviews - Run currency valuation and AP/AR reposting as part of critical month-end activities - Handle fixed asset creation, disposal, and depreciation runs along with CCA/COPA cycles and FICO integration checks Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent accounting qualification - Meaningful prior experience in general accounting or the R2R function - Strong working knowledge of fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and month-end closing - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel - Good verbal and written communication skills - SAP experience is preferred Why Join Us Genpact offers a dynamic, values-driven work environment where you can accelerate your career with mentorship, world-class learning opportunities, and exposure to cutting-edge AI-powered finance transformation. - B.Com graduate or equivalent accounting degree - 3 to 8 years of experience in Record to Report or general accounting - Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and month-end close - Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office suite - Good understanding of accruals, prepaid accounting, and journal entries - Familiarity with FICO integration, CCA/COPA cycles, and depreciation runs - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work in US shift timings from the Noida office - Immediate joiners preferred
