Radio Frequency Planning and Optimization Engineer

Role Overview Incedo Inc. is looking for an experienced Radio Frequency Planning and Optimization Engineer to join their wireless engineering team in Chennai or Hyderabad. This is a mid-to-senior level full-time opportunity ideal for professionals with deep expertise in 4G and 5G wireless technologies and hands-on RAN infrastructure experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting capabilities, vendor collaboration skills, and a passion for driving performance excellence across complex telecom networks. Key Responsibilities - Lead wireless performance application engineering and end-to-end troubleshooting across 4G and 5G environments - Drive vendor software releases and manage partnerships with leading OEMs such as Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung to implement new feature rollouts - Develop and define decoder specifications in close collaboration with vendor partners - Work cross-functionally with internal and external agile teams to ensure timely feature delivery aligned with business commitments - Support network integration, field deployments of RAN elements including eNodeB and gNodeB, and Core network elements such as MME, SGW, PGW, HSS, and PCRF - Perform 4G and 5G KPI implementation, monitoring, and analysis to ensure network performance benchmarks are met Required Qualifications - 7 to 13 years of solid hands-on experience in end-to-end 4G and 5G wireless technologies covering both RAN and Core domains - Strong expertise in wireless RAN infrastructure devices from vendors including Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung - Proven experience in network integration and software release management for RAN and Core network elements - Hands-on experience in 4G and 5G KPI implementation and data-driven performance analysis - Proficiency in interpreting performance and configuration network data - Working experience with AI tools and at least basic coding or scripting skills - Knowledge of OSS stack systems and familiarity with Open RAN, 5G Core, MIoT, and MEC technologies is a plus - Understanding of 3GPP standards is desirable Why Join Us Incedo Inc. offers a dynamic environment where you can work alongside industry-leading vendors and contribute to cutting-edge wireless network evolution.
