QA - HIM Services

Role Overview CorroHealth is seeking a QA - HIM Services specialist to join our Noida-based team in a Work From Home capacity. In this critical role, you will audit coding edits, analyze medical denials, and ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT, and CMS guidelines. Partner with us to maximize revenue cycle performance and deliver exceptional financial health solutions. Key Responsibilities - Audit and review medical documentation for appropriate ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding. - Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on daily denied claims to recover lost revenue. - Resolve pre-billing edits including NCCI, MUE, and LCD/NCD before claims are submitted. - Conduct regular coding quality audits to monitor the accuracy of DRG and APC assignments. - Create and maintain denial dashboards to present monthly trend reports to leadership. - Provide training and feedback to medical coders and collaborate with clinical staff. - Ensure all coding and audit activities adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations. Required Qualifications - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field. - Three to five years of experience in medical coding, audits, or denials. - Professional certification such as CPC from AAPC or CCS from AHIMA. - Graduation in Life Sciences or equivalent with anatomy and physiology subjects. - Proficient computer skills and advanced experience with EHR systems like Epic or Cerner.
