QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview Aditi Consulting is looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join their Chennai team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with solid hands-on experience in test automation using Java and modern testing frameworks. You will play a key part in ensuring software quality across web, mobile, and cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium - Build and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance - Acquire and analyse client requirements and optimise workflows through automation - Customise Playwright reports and libraries as per project needs - Implement efficient strategies for test data management and provisioning - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and failures in automated test runs - Generate detailed test reports and analyse results to track trends and improvement areas - Mentor junior QA team members and collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders Required Qualifications - 5 to 7 years of overall software testing experience with at least 5 years focused on test automation using Java - Proven experience testing Web Services, Web UI, REST APIs, Mobile Applications, and Salesforce platforms - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including Agile and Waterfall - Proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber - Experience writing SQL queries for PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases - Hands-on exposure to AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for test automation purposes - Familiarity with AWS architecture and cloud best practices - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Why Join Us Aditi Consulting offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you can work on cutting-edge technology projects with global clients.
