Product Manager - Security Operations

Role Overview Sumo Logic is looking for a talented Product Manager to help shape the future of its Security Operations platform in Bengaluru. In this role, you will lead the vision and execution of Threat Detection and Response capabilities while defining how artificial intelligence intersects with modern security operations. You will work closely with engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing teams to turn complex security challenges into powerful, user-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities - Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Threat Detection and Response features that drive customer engagement and satisfaction - Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, analyse use cases, and translate requirements into actionable product improvements - Maintain a data-backed product roadmap with competitive positioning to prioritise features and enhancements effectively - Partner with cross-functional teams to identify platform requirements that improve user experience and dashboard capabilities - Represent the voice of the customer to engineering teams and senior executives throughout the product development lifecycle - Work alongside engineering to ensure dashboarding solutions remain scalable, reliable, and high-performing - Contribute to go-to-market strategies and collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to communicate platform value - Develop sales enablement materials such as whitepapers, blog posts, presentations, and live product demonstrations Required Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of product management experience with a focus on cybersecurity preferred - Solid understanding of security operations technologies including SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and Threat Intelligence - Prior experience working with B2B SaaS products and navigating complex stakeholder environments - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to engage customers and cross-functional teams - Data-driven approach with the ability to use analytics to guide product decisions and development priorities - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA is considered an advantage Why Join Us At Sumo Logic you will tackle some of the largest scale data challenges in the industry while directly contributing to the company's ability to innovate and grow. - 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in cybersecurity - Knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and Threat Intelligence platforms - Experience with B2B SaaS products and complex decision-making environments - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Data-driven mindset with analytical capability - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - MBA is a plus
