Job Description

Role Overview UPS is looking for a skilled Product Analyst to join its product and technology team in Chennai. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating complex workflows into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You will serve as a proxy product owner and subject matter expert, driving product improvements and operational efficiency across business domains. Key Responsibilities - Translate business processes, goals, and workflows into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria - Act as proxy product owner for specific business domains, providing functional expertise and strategic guidance - Manage and prioritize product backlog items in Azure DevOps based on business value, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs - Analyze business workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains - Validate and interpret data from Mainframe environments, DB2 databases, and SQL queries to support informed decision-making - Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives - Participate in system testing, UAT, and production validation to ensure solution quality and accuracy - Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners through clear communication and accountability - Create business and functional requirement documents, process flows, and technical communication materials - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics using Microsoft Office tools to track product and project performance - Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and apply innovative solutions to improve outcomes Required Qualifications - 5 to 8 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role - Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps for requirements management and backlog tracking - Hands-on experience with Mainframe systems, DB2 databases, SQL, and data validation - Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe frameworks - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio - Exposure to PL/SQL, EDI Mapping, and enterprise integration across legacy and modern platforms - Strong competencies in requirements elicitation, process modeling, workshop facilitation, and analytical thinking - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven stakeholder management ability - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline Why Join Us UPS is one of the world's top 500 companies, offering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where talented professionals are empowered to grow every day. Requirements
