Payables and Purchasing Operations Coordinator

Role Overview EY is looking for a detail-oriented Payables and Purchasing Operations Coordinator to join the Business Operations and Analysis team within the GDS Program and Operations Management Centre of Excellence. In this role, you will support EY US regions by managing accounts payable activities, processing purchase requests, and handling expense reconciliation for location administration and employees. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams both onshore and offshore, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with firm policies. Key Responsibilities - Receive, acknowledge, and process invoices and purchase requests with high accuracy - Follow firm guidelines and track all requests using workflow management tools and team trackers - Provide timely updates and responses to requestors regarding their queries - Manage request volumes while maintaining consistent quality of service - Coordinate closely with Regional Business Managers, Location Managers, Mercury business advisors, and executive assistants - Support team members to meet deadlines and manage key deliverables - Process office supply orders for EY US locations as required Required Qualifications - Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Commerce or Finance - 1 to 4 years of experience in finance operations such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Ledger - Strong analytical and number-crunching abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail - Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Demonstrated customer service orientation with a commitment to quality and responsiveness Why Join Us At EY Global Delivery Services, you will be part of a dynamic, globally connected network spanning six countries, with access to continuous learning, leadership development, and a diverse and inclusive work culture. - 1 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger operations - Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce or Finance preferred - Strong analytical and numerical skills - Excellent communication and organisational abilities - Proficiency in MS Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - High attention to detail with the ability to handle complex process cases - Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and quality - Team player with the ability to work independently when required - Cultural and emotional intelligence with openness to diverse working environments
