Order To Cash - Process Associate

Role Overview Genpact is hiring a Process Associate for its Order to Cash - Cash Applications function based out of Hyderabad. This is a full-time, work-from-office role where you will be responsible for end-to-end cash application processes, deduction management, and collections within a fast-paced BPO environment. The role demands strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities - Process cash applications for manual, lockbox, and EFT receipts not automatically applied, ensuring completion within 24 hours of receipt or as per client agreement - Audit the auto-cash application process to maintain the financial integrity of receivables, including verifying closed invoices and accurately created deductions - Identify and research unknown cash receipts and ensure their timely and accurate application to the appropriate receivable accounts - Apply check remittances to customer accounts while managing workload redistribution during peak periods, month-end, and year-end cycles - Make outbound collection calls to delinquent customers, follow up on payment promises, and email or fax invoices as requested - Reconcile customer orders to match internal records, validate credits and debits, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve disputes and queries - Handle both inbound and outbound customer calls and provide customised payment plans based on customer requirements - Navigate SAP, Oracle, and reporting tools such as Power BI to manage dashboards and automated reports Required Qualifications - B.Com graduate with relevant experience in cash application processes - Solid understanding of Order to Cash end-to-end processes and basic accounting principles - Proficiency in SAP or Oracle Accounts Receivable modules and Microsoft Excel - Strong verbal and written communication skills along with good analytical and problem-solving ability - Prior experience in B2B collections, billing, and cash applications is preferred Why Join Us Genpact offers a dynamic work culture driven by AI innovation, digital transformation, and continuous learning, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside 140,000 professionals solving complex global business challenges.
