Order To Cash - Process Associate

Role Overview Genpact is hiring a Process Associate for its Order to Cash - Cash Applications function at its Hyderabad office. This is a full-time, permanent role within the Finance and Accounting department, suited to candidates with a solid grounding in accounts receivable and end-to-end O2C processes. You will be working in a dynamic, technology-driven environment with exposure to global enterprise operations. Key Responsibilities - Apply cash manually for lock box and EFT receipts not automatically processed, ensuring completion within 24 hours of receipt or as per client SLA - Audit the auto cash application process to maintain financial integrity of receivables, ensuring invoices are correctly closed and deductions are accurately created - Identify and research unknown or unidentified cash receipts and ensure their timely resolution and accurate application to the correct receivable - Make inbound and outbound collection calls to customers, follow up on delinquent amounts, and record payment commitments or arrange payment plans - Email, fax, or mail invoices to customers as requested and reconcile orders to match customer books including credits and debits - Resolve customer disputes and internal queries by coordinating across departments and following up on outstanding issues - Navigate SAP or Oracle Accounts Receivable systems and interpret customer documentation to resolve payment-related problems - Remain flexible to work overtime during peak periods such as month-end, year-end, and skeletal staffing situations Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce degree with relevant experience in cash application processes - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities - Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel - Familiarity with Power BI or other automated reporting and dashboard tools - Understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash processes and basic accounting principles Why Join Us Genpact offers a high-growth environment where you will work alongside over 140,000 professionals at the forefront of AI, automation, and digital transformation. - B.Com graduate with relevant cash application experience - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach - Experience in Order to Cash end-to-end processes - Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Excel - Ability to work with Power BI or similar reporting tools - Prior experience in B2B collections, billing, or cash applications preferred - Willingness to work overtime during peak business periods
