Order to Cash Cash Applications Specialist

Role Overview Genpact is seeking a skilled Order to Cash Cash Applications Specialist to manage cash application and collections operations. This role involves handling manual and automated cash receipts, ensuring financial integrity of receivables, and resolving customer payment discrepancies in a fast-paced BPO environment. Key Responsibilities - Process cash application and deduction creation for manual, lock box, and EFT receipts within 24 hours of receipt - Audit automated cash application processes to ensure accurate invoice closure and proper deduction creation - Identify and resolve unidentified cash receipts through thorough research and accurate application to appropriate receivables - Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP and Oracle Account Receivables systems with understanding of basic accounting principles - Interpret customer documentation and resolve payment-related issues with analytical problem-solving - Make collection calls to customers and provide flexible payment plans based on customer requirements - Reconcile orders to match customer records and manage customer disputes across departments - Support peak periods including month-end and year-end closing cycles with flexibility to work overtime Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce graduate with relevant cash application experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Comprehensive understanding of Order to Cash end-to-end processes - Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Excel with ability to navigate PowerBI dashboards - Experience with B2B collections, billing, and cash applications Why Join Us Join Genpact and work at the cutting edge of AI, automation, and digital innovation while driving transformation for global enterprises.
