Operations Manager - I, Easyship

Role Overview Amazon is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager - I for our Easyship operations in Bengaluru to drive outstanding logistics performance. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team, implement lean methodologies, and optimize shop floor metrics. This is a critical position requiring operational leadership, hands-on process improvement, and the flexibility to work night shifts and travel to seller nodes. Key Responsibilities - Direct and manage a team of operations associates, fostering their professional development and performance - Implement Lean methodologies to drive continuous process improvements across quality, cost, and delivery - Manage day-to-day operations of Easyship nodes to ensure consistent, world-class customer fulfillment - Analyze operational metrics to identify performance gaps and implement effective solutions on the shop floor - Travel to various seller nodes to successfully launch, set up, and monitor Easyship operations - Collaborate with tech and business development teams to drill down into architecture and operational requirements - Manage a flexible schedule, including regular weekend and overnight shifts, to support 24/7 fulfillment operations - Ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational guidelines, and standard operating procedures at all times Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - At least 2 years of direct employee and performance management experience - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight/night shifts - Strong understanding of performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques - Capability to travel to seller nodes and launch logistics setups Why Join Us Grow your career with Amazon's Worldwide Operations, the engine that powers our customer experience.
