Job Description

Role Overview HSBC, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organisations with a presence across 64 countries, is looking for a skilled Operations and Test Analyst to join its Global Service Centre in Hyderabad. This role is part of a specialised utility established to deliver sophisticated Liquidity products to Global Banking and Markets as well as top-tier Commercial Banking clients across 50 or more countries. You will be a key contributor to a team that manages critical customer transactions, testing functions, and operational processes on a global scale. Key Responsibilities - Implement Group Compliance Policy and manage compliance risk in line with all relevant laws, rules, and regulatory codes - Maintain HSBC internal and external control standards, including timely resolution of audit findings and issues raised by external regulators - Ensure accurate and error-free processing of complex billing instructions and operational tasks in accordance with established procedures - Identify common frauds, errors, and irregular transactions and take appropriate corrective action as per standard procedures - Provide efficient and clear resolution to customer queries over calls while meeting call handling time targets and minimising abandoned calls - Perform User Acceptance Testing, Functional Regression Testing, and Production Verification Testing for Liquidity products - Support Reference Data Setup, Customer Setup, Country Deployment, Enquiry Resolution, Interest Rework, and Incident and MI Support functions - Liaise proactively with peers and colleagues across sites to ensure timely resolution of issues and share trends, observations, and insights regularly Required Qualifications - Knowledge or understanding of Liquidity products such as Global Liquidity Engine, Cross Border Cash Concentration, Managed Rates, and Pooling and Cash Concentration - Prior experience in Payments and Investigations is preferred - Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail - Ability to multitask effectively based on the criticality of assignments - Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision - Willingness to work in rotational shifts including weekends - Good team player with a proactive and collaborative approach Why Join Us HSBC offers a work environment that fosters continuous professional development, flexible working arrangements, and meaningful growth opportunities within an inclusive and diverse setting.
