Network Management Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Management Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert and principal advisor for enterprise and managed services clients. You will lead network transformation initiatives, define comprehensive network management strategies aligned with ITIL/ITSM frameworks, and oversee 24x7 Network Operations centers. This is a strategic leadership role combining hands-on technical expertise with architectural governance and client engagement. Key Responsibilities - Act as network domain SME and principal advisor for enterprise and managed services clients - Define network management strategy, roadmap, and operating models aligned with ITIL/ITSM frameworks - Lead network transformation initiatives including NOC modernization, automation, and AIOps adoption - Oversee 24x7 Network Operations covering monitoring, incident, problem, and change management - Provide architecture and design governance for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, Data Center, and Cloud Networking - Lead major incident management and root cause analysis for critical outages - Drive standardization, best practices, and reference architecture across accounts - Establish proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization models Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 6-11 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Network Management including consulting or leadership roles - Deep expertise in Enterprise Networking and Network Operations - Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and service delivery models - Hands-on expertise in Routing and Switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS - Experience with multi-vendor network environments and hybrid cloud networking - Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, Thousand Eyes, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix - Knowledge of ServiceNow including Event, Incident, and CMDB integration - Automation and scripting knowledge with Python or Ansible preferred Why Join Us Genpact is a leading global professional services and digital transformation company.
