Network Architect

Role Overview LTIMindtree is looking for an experienced Network Architect to join their Chennai team and take ownership of enterprise-level network infrastructure across data centres, cloud environments, and hybrid setups. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies along with a strong understanding of cloud-native networking on Azure and AWS. This role operates within a 24x7 support model and demands both technical leadership and hands-on execution capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Design, administer, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN environments - Manage and configure network firewalls including Cisco FTD, FortiGate, Palo Alto, and Meraki platforms - Administer BigIP F5 and Citrix NetScaler load balancers to ensure high availability and optimal performance - Configure and maintain advanced protocols including HSRP, GLBP, PAP, CHAP, LACP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and IPsec VPNs - Handle cloud network security resources and native components on Azure and AWS platforms - Lead vulnerability management activities including security advisory assessments and mitigation planning - Develop and maintain network design documentation, support runbooks, and operational processes - Identify and implement automation opportunities for repetitive network operations tasks - Manage Network BAU Operations covering Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request management - Support and configure Software Defined Networks and SD-WAN solutions - Oversee Network Technical Transition activities including setup of network technical monitoring frameworks Required Qualifications - 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Data Centre Networking, Firewall, VPN, LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN management - Proficiency in Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Meraki, Aruba Wireless, and related infrastructure platforms - Strong knowledge of FCoE, EtherChannels, Port Security, and ACLs - Experience with WLAN architecture and enterprise wireless deployments - Familiarity with ITIL and Agile frameworks - Ability to work in a rotational shift pattern supporting a 24x7 operations model Why Join Us LTIMindtree is a global technology company offering challenging projects and a collaborative work culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
