NetSuite Consultant & Administrator

Role Overview Sun Data Tech is seeking an experienced NetSuite Consultant & Administrator to take full ownership of our NetSuite ERP platform. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for a professional who thrives at the intersection of technology and business operations. You will be instrumental in transforming how we handle procurement, inventory management, and asset lifecycle tracking across our rapidly expanding fiber network operations. The goal is to replace fragmented, spreadsheet-driven processes with a scalable, system-driven foundation that connects forecasting, procurement, inventory, assets, and finance into a seamless operational workflow. Key Responsibilities You will serve as the primary NetSuite authority within the organisation, managing roles, permissions, workflows, and platform configurations end to end. A significant focus of this role is designing and deploying structured workflows across procurement, inventory movement, and full asset lifecycle management — effectively eliminating manual tracking and standardising operations across all markets and locations. You will lead workforce training initiatives to ensure site-level teams are confident and accountable in using NetSuite for functions such as inventory transfers, warehousing, and deployment. On the technical side, you will build automation for asset creation, RMA tracking, and inventory controls, while also leading integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms to ensure continuous data flow across ordering, provisioning, and finance. You will also be responsible for improving financial and asset visibility by reconciling records, tracking depreciation and warranty lifecycles, and establishing clear governance rules. Finally, you will develop real-time reporting dashboards and saved searches that give leadership meaningful operational insights into inventory accuracy, asset status, and reconciliation gaps. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required, combined with a minimum of five years of hands-on NetSuite consulting or administration experience. Deep expertise in inventory, procurement, and asset workflows is essential, along with strong technical proficiency in NetSuite Administration, SuiteScript development, SuiteFlow workflow design, SuiteBuilder customisation, and SuiteAnalytics for reports and KPI dashboards. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with REST and SOAP API integrations, JavaScript or TypeScript development including asynchronous patterns and error handling, and working knowledge of NetSuite ERP modules covering Inventory, Procurement, Fixed Assets, GL, AR/AP, Order Management, and CRM. Familiarity with Git-based version control, SuiteQL, and basic SQL for data extraction and reporting is also expected. Strong communication skills in English, the ability to translate complex business processes into system solutions, and a proven track record of enabling non-technical teams on ERP platforms are equally important. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field 5 or more years of hands-on NetSuite consulting and administration experience Strong experience managing inventory, procurement, and asset lifecycle workflows in NetSuite Proficiency in NetSuite Administration including roles, permissions, configurations, and module management SuiteScript development experience for customisation and workflow automation SuiteFlow workflow design and SuiteBuilder customisation covering records, fields, forms, and searches SuiteAnalytics expertise including saved searches, custom reports, and KPI dashboards Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations with external platforms JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency with understanding of async patterns and error handling Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP modules including Inventory, Procurement, Fixed Assets, GL, AR/AP, Order Management, and CRM Version control using Git with familiarity in deployment best practices Basic SuiteQL and SQL knowledge for custom reporting and data extraction Proven ability to train and enable non-technical end users on ERP platforms Strong documentation and change management discipline Good written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables independently
