Manager, IT Delivery

Role Overview Vanguard, one of the world's leading investment management firms founded in 1975, is looking for a Manager of IT Delivery to join its growing technology center in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee a multidisciplinary engineering team that includes Dynamics CRM engineers, integration and API engineers, and a tech lead. You will be responsible for platform health, delivery outcomes, and technical direction across CRM, integration layers, omnichannel services, and AI-enabled capabilities that power Sales and Service experiences. Key Responsibilities - Set technical direction with architects and Tech Leads, defining reference architectures and guardrails across CRM, APIs, identity, eventing, and AI agent patterns - Own engineering quality, CI/CD pipelines, release discipline, and production support to drive predictable and reliable delivery - Maintain secure, resilient, and observable Sales and Service platforms with a strong DevSecOps and SLO/SLA mindset - Coach and develop engineers and Tech Leads, building high-performing teams across low-code CRM, pro-code integration, and AI-enabled engineering disciplines - Work closely with business leaders to define project scope, requirements, and delivery roadmaps - Manage technical debt, modernization initiatives, and platform governance in collaboration with architecture and security stakeholders - Partner with external vendors and offshore delivery teams to ensure quality and on-time execution - Lead Agile ceremonies including Scrum planning, iterative development cycles, and code review processes Required Qualifications - Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or IT service delivery with prior leadership experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 and Dataverse including schema, security, plugins, workflows, and omnichannel capabilities - Hands-on experience leading API-first and event-driven architectures using REST, GraphQL, Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka-style patterns - Exposure to AI and agent platforms such as Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, RAG patterns, and MCP concepts - Cloud-native engineering leadership experience on AWS and/or Azure covering serverless, containers, and integration services - Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards - PMP, ITIL, or Agile certifications preferred - Experience in financial services or contact centre and sales environments is a plus Why Join Us Vanguard is on a mission to give every investor the best chance for investment success, and its India office in Hyderabad is central to that vision, focusing on AI, mobile, and cloud technologies that shape the future of financial services. - 8+ years in IT project management, software development, or IT service delivery - Prior experience in a technical leadership or engineering management role - Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and omnichannel CRM capabilities - Experience with API-first and event-driven architecture patterns including REST, GraphQL, and messaging platforms - Familiarity with AI and agent frameworks such as Copilot Studio, LangChain, and RAG patterns - Cloud-native experience on AWS and/or Azure including serverless and containerised environments - DevSecOps mindset with experience in CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and security by design - Strong Agile and SDLC knowledge with Scrum planning and iterative delivery experience - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team-building skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline - PMP, ITIL, or Agile certification preferred
