Manager, Enterprise Mobile Application Development

Role Overview ValGenesis is a global leader in digital validation platforms for life sciences, trusted by 30 of the top 50 pharma and biotech companies worldwide. We are looking for a seasoned Manager of Enterprise Mobile Application Development to lead the architecture and delivery of cross-platform mobile solutions that power our enterprise validation platform. This is a high-impact, onsite role based in Chennai where you will drive mobile engineering excellence, mentor development teams, and shape the future of our mobility strategy. Key Responsibilities - Architect and design hybrid and web-based enterprise mobile applications across iOS, Android, and Windows platforms - Own and communicate the architectural vision for mobile solutions, including integration methodologies and development platform strategies - Build and maintain a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) that enables scalable, cross-platform development and seamless backend service integration - Lead implementation of POCs and technical solution approaches using a blend of open source, commercial, and proprietary technologies - Translate business requirements into solution documentation and working mobility applications - Drive the complete development lifecycle using agile principles, serving as the primary technical authority for the team - Manage the enterprise mobile platform using Azure cloud services, Microservices, APIs, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices - Own accountability for the performance, scalability, reliability, and sustainability of platform and product architecture - Mentor and enable the success of engineering and development team members Required Qualifications - 12 or more years of hands-on experience architecting, developing, and managing enterprise mobile software products across iOS, Windows, and Android - Proven experience building MEAP solutions that support scalable cross-platform mobile development - Deep understanding of Enterprise Mobile architecture including Offline-First design principles - Extensive experience with React Native and proficiency in at least one of .NET Core or NodeJS - Strong knowledge of Microservices, low code development, and reusable component design - Solid grasp of distribution and security principles covering data and application interfaces - Familiarity with EMM and MDM solutions - Hands-on experience with container-based development, AKS, Service Fabric, and Azure DevOps - Working knowledge of API Management, gateways, and messaging queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka - Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, MongoDB, Realm, and SQLite database design and development - Good understanding of code quality, code monitoring, performance engineering, and test automation tools Why Join Us ValGenesis has been the de facto standard in digital validation for life sciences since 2005, and we continue to push innovation boundaries with an end-to-end digital transformation platform.
