Manager, Accounting Services

Role Overview Conduent is a global leader in mission-critical business process services, supporting Fortune 100 companies and over 500 governments worldwide. We are looking for a seasoned Accounting Services Manager to lead our finance operations team in Kochi. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact and mentor for resolving complex accounting issues and escalations - Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to team members - Plan, organise, and conduct training and refresher sessions to upskill the team - Prepare individual development and training plans for all assigned staff - Support end-to-end recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and performance management processes - Complete timely and accurate performance evaluations for direct reports - Identify, flag, and mitigate risks or bottlenecks that could impact process efficiency - Translate business priorities and strategies into actionable team objectives - Provide recommendations on overtime requirements, operational expenses, and reporting rollup data - Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and quality standards Required Qualifications - Any graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline - 4 to 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance operations - Demonstrated experience in team management and people leadership - Strong understanding of accounting principles, treasury operations, and performance management - Ability to work within a matrix organisational structure and collaborate across functions - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders Why Join Us At Conduent, individuality is noticed and valued every day, and you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while growing your career in a globally respected organisation.
