Loan Doc & Proc Analyst

Role Overview Citi is seeking a motivated Loan Doc & Proc Analyst to join our Transaction Services Operations team in Pune. In this trainee professional role, you will perform tasks related to preparing and reviewing loan documentation within a complex operations environment. Key Responsibilities - Prepare, process, and review loan documentation for closing. - Provide day-to-day collateral management support, including cash transaction booking. - Input general ledger entries and perform calculations related to loan processing. - Interact with counterparties regarding outstanding balances, positions, and claims. - Resolve loan processing issues using established procedures and acquired experience. - Design and analyze moderately complex reports to support risk and control activities. - Mitigate bank risks by adhering to audit, control policies, and compliance rules. - Escalate transaction inquiries and issues to management in a timely manner. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree. - Basic understanding of business processes, systems, and tools in loan processing. - Awareness of loan documentation guidelines, procedures, and risks. - Strong executional, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze factual information and exercise sound ethical judgment.
