Linux Engineer - L2/ L3

The Role We are looking for a Linux Engineer to support and optimize our production and live trading infrastructure. You will provide hands-on technical support across Linux systems and related technologies, working across trading, office, and data center environments. This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, administering infrastructure and security components, supporting hardware and software changes, and optimizing servers for low-latency performance. What You’ll Do Provide direct technical support for Linux systems and related technologies in a production/live trading environment. Provide hands-on support for production issues across colocation, trading, office, and data center environments. Support and administer firewall environments. Monitor and troubleshoot Linux-based servers, including supporting hardware changes, software installations, and upgrades. Tune and optimize servers for low-latency performance.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant industry experience. Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Hands-on

experience

installing and troubleshooting Linux environments, including CentOS and Ubuntu.

Experience

with firewalls and security. Strong knowledge of shell scripting and Python. Hands-on

experience

with monitoring and automation tools such as Ansible and Zabbix. Hands-on

experience

with AWS services, including EC2 and S3. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple high-priority projects. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Good communication and collaboration skills.
